The Bobmen report – a unique project about golf & travel

The Bobmen report is a Scandinavian non profit project about golf & travel (in Sweden alone there is approx 500 000 registered golfers and most courses are closed Nov-April), with our own high quality photos and articles that also works for travellers "not-yet-golfers". With the google translation bar top right we have subscribers/readers all over the world.

Our website is an always updated photo-Wikipedia over golf destinations all over the world, the only of its kind. We do not write about sunsets, grass blowing in the wind and other fluffy things. Instead we deliver the information you need to make a decision on your next golf trip and the tools to actually get going.

Our monthly newsletter gives the latest information for the golf traveller. 

We also provide traditional articles and high resolution/full size photos for newspapers, magazines, tourist organizations/offices and golf clubs all over the world. For example, our experiences from golf trips in a mobile home was printed in a total of 400 000 copies and distributed in Expressen/GP/Kvällsposten Sunday and at the Elmia Fair in Sweden.

Article in the biggest tabloid in Scandinavia, where we present ten world class golf courses that you can play at a decent price. All photos are taken by us during play. Below: Four pages about golf in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, in one of the biggest golf magazines in Sweden.

All of us working with The Bobmen report have a background in high profile journalism and have travelled the world to a great extent and played golf in a lot of fantastic places, hence we have a credible perspective when we do our reports. What brought us all together was our passion for golf and a common urge to help promote the game and inspire golfers to travel more. In recognition of this our editor-in-chief has been selected for membership in European Golf Writer Association, a non commercial association that works to develop the game of golf in Europe.

We want not just to inspire, but show exactly where to play golf and how to get there, with reliable information and high quality photography. All photos in our newsletters and on our website are shot by us while playing the courses. We do not use Photoshop etc. This makes us unique – what you see in our reports is probably what you are going to get. On our website we already have many thousands of photos from golf courses all over the world.
